Prominent Cleric Preaches Against Gambling On Bet9ja, SureBet, 360Bet (Video)
A prominent Islamic scholar, Sheikh Buhari Musa has urged Nigerians to desist from gambling in 2025.
In a viral video seen by Osun Defender, Sheikh Musa warned against gambling on betting platforms like Bet9ja, SureBet, 360Bet, Winners Golden Bet among others as it is a panacea to self-destruction.
The Ilorin-based preacher berated some clerics who still engage in betting, admonishing them to find other sustainable means of income permissible in Islam.

His words, “Allah has warned all of us to avoid and desist from betting in any of its forms. Bet9ja is one of the betting platforms. In fact, some of those who call themselves clerics are also fond of patronising the betting platforms which God has prohibited.
“Some of the betting platforms include Bet9ja, SureBet, 360Bet, WinnersBet, Bet2Bank, Winners Golden Bet, among others, are all the kinds of bets which Nigerians, especially Muslims, are now immersed in.
“I decided to get all of their names to remind everyone that Allah forbids it,” Musa noted.
