Property Destroyed As Rain Wreaks Havoc In Erinmo-Ijesa

A devastating rainstorm which occured in Erinmo-Ijesa town in Oriade Local Government area of Osun State has destroyed properties worth millions of Naira in the community.

It was gathered that the heavy rain which lasted for about an hour destroyed the residences of the traditional ruler of the ancient town, the Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa, Oba Dr Michael Odunayo Ajayi, Arowotawaya II, including the fence of his ultra modern palace guest house which is currently under construction.

The Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa while speaking on the development, appealed to Governor Ademola Adeleke, National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, and the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency, NESREA, to urgently provide assistance for those affected by the rainstorm.
