The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has Commended Morocco for the Atlas Lions’ remarkable performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Walid Regragui’s side finished fourth position in the competition after going down to a 2-1 defeat against Croatia on Saturday night.
It was the highest finish by an African country in the history of the FIFA World Cup.
The North Africans were also the first team from the continent to make it to the semi-finals.
It was indeed a memorable outing for Morocco, who sent out Spain and Portugal from the competition.
CAF took to social media to celebrate the Atlas Lions.
