A top education echelon in the State of Osun, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole has enjoined Muslims all over the world, particularly in the State of Osun to fully optimize the opportunity of this important month of the Islamic calendar just as he charged them to be committed to piety, compassion, and brotherliness during and after the holy month.
Kolawole made this known through a press release sent to newsmen in Osogbo, the State capital, to felicitate with Muslims on this year’s Ramadan.
The Osun top educationist said Ramadan enhances closeness to Allah while shunning all the worldly sins. “It purifies the heart and places us at advantage position before our Creator. We need to be dutiful to Almighty Allah, show compassion to neighbours, and exploit abundant blessings for this life and hereafter during the holy month”.
He, however, enjoined Muslims to use this important period to pray for peace in Nigeria, particularly the State of Osun and the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola to overcome once and for all, the seeming hindrances that might want to halt the progress of the State under his leadership.
The Osun frontline community leader praying that “May Almighty Allah spare our lives to this and many more Ramadan on the surface of the earth and give us the ability to carry out good deeds as much as possible in the Month because of the multiple abilities of its virtues and the blessings of Allah.”
