The Nigeria Democratic Congress Party NDCP has felicitated with the Nigerian Muslim Community on the occasion of the 1439AH Ramadan.

This is contained in a statement signed by NDCP Founder and Presidential Candidate, Dr Johnson Edosomwan in Abuja on Wednesday.

The party said as Ramadan is a holy month where Muslims are devout and more pious, it calls for a sober reflection especially with the situation of things in Nigeria.

Edosomwan said there is no better time than this for Nigerians most importantly Muslims to pray for lasting peace in view of the killings going on across the country.

The statement also advised Islamic faithfuls to let their prayers focus on the salvation and emancipation of the nation from the hands of the present government.

“I congratulate all Muslims on the occasion of this year’s annual Ramadan fast.”

“As we all know, our people are being killed everywhere in this country everyday by unscrupulous elements. We must then be steadfast in prayers.”

“Ramadan being a month of increase in good deeds should not also go without Nigerian Muslims praying for a successful electioneering as 2019 approaches to salvage it from the hands of the APC,” Edosomwan stated.

He also called on Islamic faithfuls to be tolerant and show love to one another as embedded in the lessons of Ramadan.
