Rapper Odumodublvck Survives Ghastly Car Crash
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has survived a serious car accident after his luxury vehicle was crushed by a trailer on a highway.
The hip-hop and Afrobeats star, whose real name is Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, confirmed the incident in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday morning, sharing shocking images of the wrecked car and a photo of himself in a hospital bed.
“THE MACHINE MUST ARRIVE IN 1 PIECE. IT IS A MUST. THE MACHINE IS COMING,” he wrote.
In another post, he added: “SURVIVED. THE MACHINE MUST ARRIVE IN ONE PIECE. IT IS A MUST. THE MACHINE IS COMING.”
One of the images shows his car completely wrecked, with the front and side panels crushed after colliding with a heavy-duty truck.
Another picture shows him in a hospital bed with a drip attached.
While the extent of his injuries remains unclear, his ability to post online suggests he is in stable condition.
Odumodublvck, known for blending Afrobeats, hip-hop, and grime, gained fame with his hit song “Declan Rice.”
He is signed to Native Records, a subsidiary of Def Jam Recordings, and won Rookie of the Year at the 2023 Headies Awards.
