RCC, Bank Staff Kidnapped As Gunmen Invade Quarry in Ibadan

Unknown gunmen have stormed a quarry site located along Ijebu-Ode / Ibadan Road and kidnapped two persons on Monday, March 15, 2021.

It was gathered that one Mr. Popoola Isaac, a staff of RCC and Mr. Ismail Adeoye, a staff of Polaris Bank were the victims of the incident.

The incident which occurred at Dalli Village (Binu Quarry), along Ibadan – Ijebu-Ode Road has been reported at the Idi Ayunre police station.This is coming a few months after the invasion of a quarry site at Akinyele local government area in Ibadan by gunmen and kidnapped some workers.

Public Relations Officer of the State Police command, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi confirmed the abduction.
