Governor Ademola Adeleke of the State of Osun on Friday evening bagged “Best Governor of the Year; Good Governance.”
The award is courtesy The Champion Newspaper.
The news of the event was shared on @ImoleMedia, an handle on Twitter promoting the activities of the Governor and the state government.

Social media users however queried the decision of the organisation to award a Governor who is less than a year in office for good governance when he is yet to even mark his first anniversary as the helmsman of Osun.
One of the users, @Joelbanky wrote: “HE Governor Ademola Adeleke arrives Eko Hotel, venue of The Champion award where he is to be honored with “Best Governor of the year; good governance.”
