A video of a bandit calling on Nigerians to support him to kidnap, President Bola Tinubu has generated reactions from Nigerians on social media.
Osun Defender reports that the activities of bandits on social media have increased recently.
The bandits are now using social media, especially TikTok, to display collected ransoms and mock the government.
The bandit spoke in Hausa language in the video.

Reacting to the video, an X user, Pharaoh, @Ugochukwu_96, wrote,
“The government will tag what they said as a joke, but if an ordinary citizen should make such a video, he would get arrested.”
Another X user, J E F F E R S O N @DProf93, in his reaction, said, “FG: He is just joking. When other Nigerians say the same thing, FG: Arrest him for felony, treason, attempt to cause unrest and disruption of public peace. All of them in that government will crumble in Jesus name.”
