Recruitment: Police Announces Date To Begin Screening
The Osun State Police Command has said it would begin physical/credential screening of applicants who had indicated interest to join the force on Jan. 8.
SP Opalola Yemisi, the spokesperson of the command, announced the commencement of the screening exercise in a statement in Osogbo on Friday.
She said the screening exercise would be held at the Police Command Headquarters, Ring Road, Osogbo from Jan. 8 to Jan. 29.
She said, “the Osun State Police Command wishes to inform members of the public especially citizens of the State who applied in the ongoing Police recruitment that the Physical/Credential screening exercise is scheduled to hold from 8th-29th January, 2024 at the Police Command Headquarters, Ring Road Osogbo, Osun State.
“Candidates are to visit the recruitment portal: https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to print out their invitation slip.
Consequently, all applicants are to appear at the screening center in their clean white T-shirt and shorts with the following mandatory basic screening requirements:
“1. Two white flat files with a recent passport photograph attached:
- Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized Medical Hospital
- Evidence of Good character from Village/District Head of the applicant
- Certificate of Origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary
- National Identity Number (NIN) – Slip Print-out
- Original and duplicate copies of credentials O’ Level Result(s), Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
- Print-out of application form
- Duly completed Guarantor’s form
- Invitation slip
“Any candidate who fails to present the items mentioned above will not be considered for screening.”
