With myriads of candidates popping up everywhere, and the scenario of crowded races in a ‘first past the post system’ could the scenario of the Oyo State governorship election of 2015 be reenacted?  In Oyo State in 2015, the incumbent state governor, Abiola Ajimobi running against a fractitionalised “opposition” got through with 37.2% of the total votes cast.
