The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), has urged Nigerians to discard fake reports that it approved the commencement of the Nigerian Immigration Service 2022/23 Replacement Exercise.
In a statement, the Secretary on behalf of the Chairman of the Board, the CDCFIB said there is no iota of truth in such report.
“The attention of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has been drawn to the fake report circulating on social media apparently from scammers, announcing that “THE CDCFIB HAS APPROVED THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE NIGERIAN IMMIGRATION SERVICE 2022/23 REPLACEMENT EXERCISE”.
“The CDCFIB hereby advice the general public to ignore such FAKE INFORMATION as there is no iota of truth in such report.”
