The All Progressive Congress (APC) has commenced house-to-house campaign ahead this week’s Thursday rerun election, which would be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The affected polling units where the rerun election will take place are: Ife North Local Government Area, Ward 15, unit 010, with voting strength of 502 voters as the earlier election was cancelled due to card reader problems. In Ife South, Ward 16, two polling units were affected with a voting strength of 812 and 502 respectively.
Also, three in Orolu and one in Osogbo.
In an exclusive interview with our correspondent, Mr Olufemi Francis, the Secretary of APC Ife Central branch, said house to house campaign has begun in the affected units in Ife North and Ife South.
While imploring on electorates to vote for APC, he said the present administration of Aregbesola have done well in road construction and youths empowerment.
Francis however urged the electorates in the affected units to vote for continuity in order to consolidate on the ongoing changes that would set the state on the path of progress.
