- Blame Contractor, Call For Adeleke’s Intervention
Residents of Aduragbemi Community, Ido-Osun, Osun State, on Friday, protested against what they described as the ‘poor construction’ of a road in the area.
The residents who carried placards to express their displeasure, accused the contractor handling the construction of doing a shoddy job.
They noted that they road which is barely a week has been washed off after a rain on Thursday.
The protesters called on the state government to come to their aid and direct the contractor to do the needful.

Meanwhile, an X user, Adekeye Moses had in a post, claimed that the road which span from Tradefair/ Ido Osun junction to Adeleke Estate via Aduramigba was tarred on Wednesday but got washed off a day after.

He wrote “A road from Tradefair/ Ido Osun junction to Adeleke Estate via Aduramigba was tarred yesterday 14th May and washed out today 15th May 2025. Rumour has it that the road was approved to be a Stone based but it was laterite based.”
Reacting, the spokesperson to the Governor, Olawale Rasheed said the contractor has already been issued a query.
