Residents Seek Govt Help Over Abandoned Corpse In Osun Community
Residents of Ilesa have appealed to the state government and the chairman of Ilesa West Local Government to come to their aid over the dead body of a man lying unattended.
The man who died yesterday at Oke Omiru area, according to sources was not mentally stable.
The residents said efforts to evacuate the decease has proved abortive, calling on authorities to wade in before the corpse cause a serious health problems.
Mr Isaac Haastrup, an aide to the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Owa Adesuyi Haastrup, in a live video on Tuesday afternoon, said residents of the area have obtained a police report.

Haastrup in the video, however, said the corpse was still lying on the ground at the time of the video.
He called on the environmental health officers at the local government to implement necessary measures to ensure public health safety and evacuate the deceased.
