Results Out Before Conclusion Of Election In Kogi

Some forged election results have been discovered from a polling unit in Kogi before the conclusion of the exercise.

The forged results emanated from Polling Unit 004, Eni Ward of Ogori/Mangogo in Kogi State.

In one of the forged result, a copy sighted by Osun Defender, AA got one vote, ADC got two votes, APC got 200 votes while the PDP and SDP got two votes each.

In another one, APC got 530 votes while nothing was recorded for PDP.

Also, a civil society organisation, YIAGA Africa has raised the alarm over the fake results.

This was revealed via its handle, @YIAGA on X Saturday morning, urging the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to investigate the results.

“Dear @inecnigeria we received report of pre-filled results sheet discovered in PU 004, Eni Ward of Ogori/magongo in Kogi state before commencement of voting.

“Kindly investigate and address this issue promptly to safeguard the integrity of the process,” the post read.
