Mr Kareem Fatai, an agent of Alhaji Moshood Adeoti in Ward 9, Osogbo Local Government, has alleged that the returning officers for the governorship primary in the ward refused to record the election results in the record and result sheets.
Fatai also alleged that the returning officers added 300 votes to Governor Oyetola while counting members of the party who queued for the election.
He said: “When the returning officers came to our ward at Onreke, Agbedepupo, Ibokun road, Osogbo in the morning, we asked for the record and result sheets and the told us that they did not bring it.
“After the accreditation, we asked for the result too and they told us that it was not with them. We complained to the security agents and they told us that we should be calm.
“While counting the people on the queue, 94 votes was recorded to Adeoti. When the electoral officers counted 80 people for Oyetola, they jumped to 180. That generated reactions but the security agents advised us to be calm so that the hoodlums around would not attack us.
“We allowed them to continue the counting and when they got to 205, they jumped to 305 again. We could not keep quiet and when we were questioning them, the thugs around came forward and were ready to attack us. The security agents also pleaded with us to avoid violence as we were going to be the casualties.
“We could not do anything again. They continued the counting and when they got to 340, they jumped to 440. At the end of the day, they recorded 446 for Oyetola.
“In the actual sense, Oyetola got 146 votes while Adeoti got 94 votes. Three-hundred votes was fraudulently added to that of Oyetola.
“The votes was not recorded anywhere. There was no result sheet, nor recording sheet.
“The security agents who included police, DSS and civil defence officers were not given results too.”
