Rinu, #EndSARS Crusader Asks CBN To Freeze Pantami’s Accounts

Rinu Oduala, one of the leading faces of the #EndSARS protest has queried the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, wondering when the bank would freeze the bank accounts of the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, over his past controversial comments supporting the activities of terrorist groups including Taliban and Al-Qaeda.

Pantami has been in the eye of the storm with Nigerians calling for his resignation following some radical pro-terrorists comments he has said in the past.

It will be recalled that last year, aftermath of the #EndSARS protest, the apex bank swiftly frozen the accounts of at least 20 #EndSARS leaders over terrorism-related allegations.

On Thursday, Rinu tweeted using her verified Twitter handle, @SavvyRinu, “Godwin Emefiele, when are you going to freeze the bank accounts of Isa Pantami?”
