…Lawmakers Have Been Having Sleepless Night – Speaker
The official residential lodge of the Ondo State House Assembly Speaker, Olamide Oladiji, located beside the Alagbaka Government House was stormed by suspected ritualists with fetish items on Monday.
This was coming amid the alleged move to impeach the state deputy governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The speaker said lawmakers at the House had been having sleepless nights since they commenced the impeachment process against the state deputy governor.
Sources noted that the suspected ritualists were likely to be loyalists of the deputy governor, who are against his impeachment move by the lawmakers of the Assembly.
Meanwhile, the speaker has raised the alarm after discovering the fetish item in front of his official residence.
He said, “Early this morning, we discovered that a sacrifice was placed in the lodge. Aside from that, I have been receiving strange calls from strange people threatening my life and other members.
“l am using the medium to tell the world that my life is under threat. I call on the security operatives to checkmate these people who have been threatening my life and other members.
“This threat started since the day we began the impeachment process. I have already reported to NSCDC among other security agencies.”
