Commissioner for Transport in Rivers State, Dr. Jacobson Nbina has also joined the list of comissioners who resigned their appointments from Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s cabinet.
He becomes the eighth commissioner to resign from the state executive council.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Works, Dr. George-Kelly Alabo, and that of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Mrs Inime Chinwenwo-Aguma, tendered their resignation letters on Thursday.
Also, the State Commissioner for Housing, Dr. Gift Worlu resigned.

Their letters, dated December 14, were addressed to the state Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, through the Secretary to the State Government.
Most of the resigning commissioners are staunch loyalist of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.
