Salinsile Mourns Death Of Pa Opakanmi

The State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Osun, Hon Rasaq Salinsile has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Pa Opakanmi’s family as well as members of APC in Ayedire local government area and the State of Osun over the demise of the elder statesman.

A press statement personally signed by Hon Salinsile said Baba will be fondly remembered for his dedication and commitment to progressive politics.

According to the statement, Pa Opakanmi until his death was the Chairman, Elders Council/Forum of the APC in Iwo Federal Constituency.

Baba was a Member of the House of Representatives during second Republic and an Apex Leader of the All Progressives Congress APC from Ayedire Local Government Area of the State of Osun.

He has also served as the Former Chairman, Transition Council,  Ayedire Local Government Area.

Salinsile pray Allah to forgive Baba’s shortcoming and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
