The Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has directed the contractor handling the state government’s controlled-part of the Lagos-Badagry Road to resume work before the month end.
Sanwo-Olu gave the directive yesterday while conducting on-the-spot assessment of the highway between Orile Iganmu and Iyana- Oba sections of the highway.
“Government will try to complete the road from Maza -Maza to Okokomaiko before the end of the year.
We would ensure that the commerce in the Eastern axis of Lagos comes back, that is why we have come here,’’ Sanwo-Olu said.
