Scores Feared Dead In Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Crash
Over ten persons are feared dead following a multiple crash involving several vehicles along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The tragic accident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Tuesday around the Soka axis of the expressway.
Eyewitnesses said the crash involved at least three Nissan Micra taxis and three articulated trucks.
All the vehicles were said to be heading from the Iwo Road area when the collision happened.
As of the time of filing this report, emergency officials had yet to confirm the official death toll, but local sources claimed many died and several others sustained injuries.
