Scott Iguma Remanded In Prison For Fighting Alleged Fraudulent Land Sell By PWAN Real Estate Company
The Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikoyi, on Thursday afternoon, remanded popular media personality, Scott Iguma, in prison.
It was learnt that the influencer was arrested on Wednesday and detained in Panti Police Station for accusing a real estate company, PWAN, of defrauding customers.
However, in a new development on Thursday, popular Nigerian singer, Kokopee, in a video shared on Instagram, disclosed that Iguma has been remanded in prison till Monday.
Kokopee said, “I’m here in Ikoyi, sadly Scott has been remanded till Monday. He has been remanded for fighting for people. You have a problem with the way he has done it? Did he kill someone? Did he commit a crime? “In Lagos I thought they said defamation is not a crime?”
Scott Iguma had on Monday, in a series posts on Instagram, alleged: “PWAN sells receipts for customers instead of land. I was at the EFCC again yesterday to submit another 25 petitions against PWAN. So we now have a total of 130 petitions from customers that have been sent to the EFCC against PWAN.
“And we have about 30 victims that we have not filed their petition. Day after day, more victims are still coming to my DM and telling me the atrocities that they have gone through.”
Prior to his arrest, Iguma had accused the owner of PWAN of using some top police officers to oppress victims when they try to speak out.
