What a tragedy as 128 Nigerians, other migrants drown attempting to migrate to Europe in 21 days. A Facebook user, Mercy Alex, has taken to her page to share a tribute message in honour of Nigerians who died at the Mediterranean Sea while they were trying to flee the country to Europe.
Alex wrote: “After risking their lives no one live to tell the story, with tears in my eyes I pray may their soul rest in peace a Amen.”
It was gathered that over 590 migrants died on the central Mediterranean Sea in 2017.
