Senate Confirms Three Ambassadorial Nominees
The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs on Tuesday confirmed the appointment of the three non-career ambassadors, as requested by President Bola Tinubu.
Those confirmed during a hearing by the panel are Lateef Kayode Kolawole Are from Ogun State, Aminu Muhammad Dalhatu from Jigawa and Emmanuel Ayodele Oke from Oyo State.
The Senate last week screened and confirmed 68 ambassadorial nominees.
Those confirmed include former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu; former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode; former presidential aide, Reno Omokri; and former Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau.
