Nigeria’s Service Chiefs have kept mum after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday.
President Buhari had cancelled the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting to hold discussions with the heads of security agencies at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
At the end of the meeting which held behind closed doors, the security chiefs declined to brief State House correspondents about what was discussed.
Those present are the Minister of Defence, Brigadier General Mansur Dan-Ali (rtd); the Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonosakin, and the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai.
Others are Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, and the Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris.
