House of Assembly is set to take another step.
Osun Defender reports that the Assembly had last Wednesday issued an impeachment notice on the deputy governor with a seven-day ultimatum to respond.
The Assembly said it will publish the impeachment notice on Shaibu, in national newspapers after his failure to acknowledge receipt of the notice sent through the Clerk of the House.
Speaking at plenary on Tuesday, the Speaker of the House, Blessing Agbebaku, said the directive was to ensure all grounds are explored to adequately serve the impeachment notice to elicit his response within the seven-day ultimatum given by the House.
He ordered that the notice should be published in the State-owned Nigerian Observer and other national dailies.
