Six killed In Lagos-Ibadan Road Crash

The Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has disclosed  that six persons have been killed in an accident involving two vehicles along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

In a statement on Friday by the command’s spokesperson, Florence Okpe, three persons also sustained injuries during the crash.

She said the accident, which occurred at Verona-Ogere axis of Ogun state, was caused by an over-speeding Toyota Sienna.

“The crash involved two vehicles with the following details: Ash Toyota Sienna with registration number EPE692EL and a truck that could not be identified as it was in motion when the crash happened and didn’t stop after the crash,” she said.

She added that the accident victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment while the corpses have been deposited at the morgue.
