Slain Delta Soldiers For Burial Wednesday
Soldiers killed in the Okuama community in Delta State are to be buried on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the National Cemetery, Abuja.
The Nigerian Army disclosed in a statement posted on its X handle on Tuesday, adding that the burial will hold by 3 pm.
Osun Defender reports that the soldiers who were on a peace mission to neighbouring Okuoma community were killed by some irate youths.
The deceased included an Army Commander, two majors, one captain and 12 soldiers,
President Bola Tinubu is billed to be the Special Guest of Honour at the event.
