Slot Signs Deal To Replace Klopp As Liverpool Manager – Romano

Football journalist Fabrizio Romano, has announced that Liverpool have completed the documentation to sign Slot who will become the club’s new manager for the 2024-25 season.

Slot will be replacing outgoing boss, Jurgen Klopp who is ending his nearly nine-year stay at the club where he won all the domestic and European honours with the side.

He took charge of the Liverpool side in October 2015.

The deal according to the journalist is now awaiting official confirmation with a few of Slot’s backroom team staff awaiting work permits from the British Government.

Slot arrival will end the speculation of him getting the job with Rubin Amiron of Sporting Lisbon also on the target list before the Reds.

“Arne Slot formally signs his contract as the new Liverpool head coach today, all documents are in place. The official announcement will follow with #LFC desired timing. Work permit still pending for some of his staff members and then it will be all sealed,” read a statement on Fabrizio Romano’s X handle.

Slot will replace the entire backroom staff and bring his own set of coaches from the previous club Feyenoord. The terms of the deal are not yet disclosed, but Slot will sign a multi-year contract to take charge of the side.
