Soldiers Killed As Boko Haram Attacks Nigerian Army Base
Scores of Nigerian soldiers have been killed, with many still missing, as Boko Haram/Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists attacked a Forward Operating Base in the Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
Sources told SaharaReporters that the terrorists razed many buildings and military operational vehicles during the attack that lasted over two hours.
“25 Taskforce Bde was attacked during the weekend with so many casualties, so far we have recovered over seven bodies,” a source told SaharaReporters on Monday.

“The terror group invaded the camp FOB Sabon Gari around 4am on Saturday, using various weapons.”

The sect’s membership has swollen with the defection of hundreds of Boko Haram fighters.
The Nigerian Army says it is committed to wiping out the terrorism from the country.
