South-South Community Vows To Promote Peace In Kano

The newly elected President of the South-south community in Kano under the auspices of South-South Community Association of Nigeria (SSCAN) has pledged to be part and parcel of all activities that will poster peace and unity between them and their host community.

Dr Mbah said, Kano as a host community to the south-south people, had been doing so many things in its efforts to make them comfortable in the state.

He added that the hospitality of the host community made the association to make a pledge of supporting all activities that would poster peace and unity among all other communities residing in the state.

“Kano has been our home for quite a long time and the people of the state are very accommodating. The present Governor of the state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has been a friend to us all,” he said.

He said SSCAN was making arrangements to establish its secretariat which would ease the association’s activities in the state.
