Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa has been asked to provide an explanation for the N44 billion allocated to him over the past two years.

This request follows the release of a document that outlines the mismanagement of funds meant for vehicles and capital projects.

According to a document seen by Osun Defender, N30.19 billion was allocated for vehicles in 2023, including official cars, utility buses, and backup vehicles, while N13.33 billion was earmarked for the same purpose in 2024.

However, no vehicles were purchased in 2023, and only a small portion of the 2024 allocation has been accounted for.
