Stakeholders in all spheres of life in Osun State have expressed their readiness to track projects initiated by both state and federal governments across the 332 wards of the state.

The stakeholders, comprising Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), academics, Community-Based Organisations (CBOs), Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and the media made the pledge at a workshop organised by a non-governmental organisation, Connected Development (CODE).

The participants of the workshop who are referred to as Community of Practice (CoP) were assigned to Osun West, Osun East and Osun Central Senatorial Districts during the training.

A trained member of the CoP and facilitator, Deji Alabi, while speaking at the workshop, provided clarity by delineating the thematic areas that each group would focus on.

According to Alabi, those who were attached to Osun West have the task of spearheading a zonal intervention project with a focus on education, those in Osun East would concentrate efforts on Ilesa water project.

The Osun Central team was allocated the responsibility of enhancing public health centres within the district.

The activity is aimed at providing CoP members with the essential knowledge and skills needed to effectively apply the Follow The Money (FTM) model in project tracking and monitoring.
