State Gov. Declares Two Work-free Days Ahead Of Buhari Visit To Katsina

Aminu Bello Masari, Governor of Katsina State, has declared Thursday, 26 and Friday, 27 January 2023 as work-free days ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to the state.

Sani Bala Kabomo, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Culture and Home Affairs, made this disclosure in a statement on Wednesday.

The holiday was granted by the state government, according to the statement, so that public employees from all over the state may take part in providing President Buhari a deserving welcome when he commissions projects run by Governor Masari’s administration.

According to a source, President Buhari will is due to commission an overhead bridge and underpass worth several billion naira that were built in the state capital.

Other projects scheduled for commissioning include the Darma Rice Processing Company, the newly constructed headquarters of the Katsina State Internal Revenue Board, and the renovated Katsina State Water Board in the state capital.
