Suicide Bomber Kills Five in Afghanistan Attack
Five people have been killed in an explosion outside a bank in northern Afghanistan on Tuesday.
It was gathered that the incident which left seven more people injured had a Taliban security force as one of its casualties.
Osun Defender learnt that the attack was said to have targeted the queue of people waiting to collect salaries from a bank in the city of Kunduz, the capital of Kunduz province.
Police spokesman for the Kunduz province, Jumadin Khaksar stated that the suicide bomber had improvised explosive devices and detonated himself.

“There are no immediate claims of responsibility for the attack that happened on Tuesday and a number of bomb blast and suicide attacks in Afghanistan has declined since Taliban ended their insurgency after seizing power in August 2021, Several groups like IS still remain a threat,” he stated.
