The Sultan of Sokoto and President-General, Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, will on Saturday 17th March, 2018 inaugurate the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria.
The Ceremony which takes place in the Banquet Hall of the Osun state government house, Osogbo; will have Governor Rauf Aregbesola as the special guest of honour.
The Sultan of sokoto, who is the grand patron of the association, will also serve as the chief guest of honour at the ceremony.
Members of the BOT are: Mallam Yusuf Ali,SAN- chairman, While Mallam Muhammad Haruna, Barrister Abdraheem Adebayo Shittu, Professor Abdganiyu Ambali, Professor Obini Ekpe and Professor Saadiya Omar Bello are members.
The ceremony, which will also have Professor Is-haq Oloyede- the JAMB Registrar as guest of honour; will be presided over by the chairman, Oyo state Muslim Community and former National President, NACOMYO, Alhaji Kunle Sanni,as the chairman.
A paper on the “Effective Use of Mass Media for Da’awah” will be presented by an editor-in-chief and a member editorial board of the defunct Concord Newspapers, Alhaji Liad Tella.
