Sunshine Stars Protest Poor Welfare

Players of the Sunshine Stars FC, Akure, have taken to the streets to protest poor funding.

The team players took to the street to protest three months unpaid salaries and allowances.

The action which took place in Akure, left people in shock on Tuesday morning.
The protesting players said they have not been paid since commencement of the 2020/2021 NPFL season.

Fans and supporters of the team blamed the poor morale as one of the reasons the team have not won any of the 11 matches played this season.
