Super Eagles To Meet Press, Train At Venue Of Iceland Clash

The Super Eagles will hold an official pre-match press conference on Thursday ahead of Friday’s crunch clash against Iceland at the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup from 5pm at the Volgograd Arena.

The Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr and captain Mikel Obi on Wednesday interracted with the media in the training camp base in Esssentuki.

The team arrived in Volgograd today for their second game against Iceland.

“Our official pre-match press conference ahead of Friday’s game against #ISL holds from 5pm at the Volgograd Arena,” the Super Eagles tweeted on Thursday.

“Our official training, which is only open for 15 minutes filming, starts immediately after at 5.30pm.”

Nigeria currently bottom of group D must beat Iceland to stand a chance of reaching the next round.

Argentina and Croatia are the other teams in the group.
