The appeal of the Social Democratic Party Governorship candidate in Kogi State, Muritala Ajaka, has been dismissed by the Supreme Court.
OSUN DEFENDER had reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission, after the November 11, 2023 election, had announced Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress as the winner.
But Ajaka had challenged the result from the lower court to the apex court.

A five-member panel of the apex court, in a unanimous decision, affirmed Ododo’s victory as the panel refused to void the election as requested by Ajaka.
