Suspected Armed Robbers Shoot Salesclerk To Death In Osun

Two suspected armed robbers has thrown the resident of Abidogun area in Osogbo, State of Osun to mourning after shooting a middle age salesgirl to death.
It was learnt that she was killed after she was waylaid by two men who were armed with pistol.
A source made it known to our correspondent that the two gruesome killer trailed her to the area because of the sales money she wanted to deliver to her boss.
It was also learnt that after she was shot one of the pistol the assailant was holding fell off their hands before they whisk away the money.
According to a source who preferred anonymity, said, when the salesgirl was stopped by two armed men she was belligerent in her action and it seems, that warranted the armed men to pull the trigger.
Another source who don’t want to be named said “The lady was a salesgirl and people do call her Igede girl.
“She is from Benue state. That is all what I know and I can say about her.
The Osun State Police confirmed the killing to our correspondent on phone.
The PPRO, Mrs. Folashade Odoro said, “A pistol was recovered at the scene and the Command is making frantic effort to apprehend the assailant”.
Effort to know the name of the victim and her boss proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
