Suspected Bandit Killed, Two Others Arrested In Kwara

Bandits struck again on Friday between Maloko and Sulu, two sleepy villages in Omupo District of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Reports reaching OSUN DEFENDER indicate that three people, including two females were abducted during the attack, but the male among them escaped.

Hunters and vigilantes went on their trail, rescued the two females and apprehended the suspected bandits.

According to unconfirmed reports, one of the bandits was gunned down during an exchange of fire.

Efforts to reach the Kwara State police command’s spokesperson, Ejire Adeyemi Toun, proved abortive.
