Suspected PDP Thugs Attack Trader In Ile Ife

Suspected PDP thugs on Saturday evening attacked a trader popularly called Olamide at Iremo area in Ile Ife.

Olamide who sells electronic gadgets at the area was attacked for fighting with a thug popularly called “Ori Ejo”.

This triggered the attention of the co-thugs to chase the trader with the intention of beating him to death.

The incident however turned to a pandemonium in the area when the thugs stormed Olamide’s and carted away with all his goods since he had run for safety.

An eye witness who craved anonymity told our correspondent that, ” the thugs are the boys of PDP, they always create havoc everyday in the area. Crisis has become their daily bread which they most eat everyday.”

As at press time, some community leaders have appealed to the thugs and normalcy has returned to the area.
