Tax Advocacy Club Reached Out Enmass On Tax Awareness Raising

It was another remarkable achievement recorded in the aspect of tax awareness raising, as Osun Tax Advocacy Club, Osogbo branch led by the Coordinator, Alhaji Gasali Owolabi trooped out enmass to educate the populace on the importance of tax.

Alhaji Owolabi who briefed the press in Osogbo during the awareness creation tagged ‘walk for tax’ said the awareness should be a collaborative effort of not only by the government but also the populace.

He emphasized that, the internally generated revenue had been used to put assorted developmental projects not only in the urban areas but also the rural areas of the state.

Alhaji Gasali therefore enjoined every tax payer in the state to pay their tax as and when due as this is what is demanded of them by the state government.

According to him, the people are enjoying the effect of tax payment through good roads, uninterrupted power supply, good health delivery and many more.
