There was a momentary disruption of academic activities on Thursday at Western Delta University, following the invasion of suspected armed robbers into the university campus.
It was gathered that the hoodlums gained entry through an unfenced perimeter at the rear of the campus, intending to rob students.

Upon sensing danger, the students quickly raised the alarm and sought safety nearby.
The timely intervention by the law enforcement agents reportedly prevented any casualties or serious disruption to the university’s operations. The invaders were said to have fled in different directions at sighting the security operatives.
