Onaolapo, according to a post by Ilobu-Asake Vanguard on Facebook, was allegedly shot dead by an indigene of Ifon-Orolu.
The post noted that he was short on his way to his farm located in the Oke Ekutu area, a boundary between the two communities.
In a video footage that accompanied the post, the dead body of the victim was seen in a car parked in front of the palace of Olobu of Ilobu, Oba Ashiru Olatoye, with a large crowd wailing and mourning the deceased.
The mourners demanded immediate action from the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, and the security agents to de-escalate tension and prevent reprisal.
