Afrobeats superstar Davido has immortalised his late mother, Dr. Veronica Adeleke, by commissioning a female hostel named Veronica Imade Adeleke Female Hostel at Clifford University, Abia State.
The unveiling, held during the university’s 6th Convocation Ceremony, saw Davido urge graduates to pursue purposeful lives, noting that “true greatness lies not in fame or wealth but in the lives one touches.” Joined by his friend Cubana Chief Priest — who pledged to sponsor 50 students — Davido described the project as “a continuation of his mother’s purpose — turning love into legacy.”

Actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has revealed how she earned her first ₦1 million in 1999 through her breakout role as Bisi in the hit TV series I Need to Know.
