Tiwa Savage Clarifies Comment On Polygamy

Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has clarified her recent comment about being open to becoming a second wife, explaining that her words were taken out of context.

‎During an episode of the American podcast Air Service, the 45-year-old singer said most men who approach her are either in their 50s or already married, which led her to jokingly consider being a second wife.

‎In her words: “If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they are either in their 50s or already married. So, I don’t know. Maybe I can be a second wife.”

‎However, Tiwa later released a video stating that she was speaking out of frustration from past heartbreaks and not expressing genuine interest in polygamy.

‎“I was a first wife, where did that get me? I got married as the only wife but here we are. I’m tired of being heartbroken,” she said, adding that being a second wife is “not her choice.”

I Serve the Devil, He Made Me Popular – Terry G

‎Controversial singer Terry G, born Gabriel Oche Amanyi, shocked fans after admitting that his fame came from “serving the devil.”

‎While debunking false reports of his death in a now-deleted Instagram video, the “Akpako Master” clarified that he is alive and well but reiterated his earlier claims from the Honest Bunch podcast that his success came from “worldly influences.”

‎“Yes, na devil I dey serve. Na devil make me blow,” he said, explaining that he has always been open about the secular nature of his music career.

‎Terry G also appealed to fans to stop spreading death rumours, stressing that the news had caused panic among his loved ones.

Mercy Johnson Calls for Release of Regina Daniels’ Brother, Sammy West

‎Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has joined calls for the release of Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, who was allegedly arrested on the orders of her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

‎Regina had accused Nwoko of ordering Sammy’s arrest and physically assaulting her, an allegation the lawmaker denied, claiming she was under the influence of drugs.

‎Mercy Johnson condemned Sammy’s detention, describing it as “the worst form of injustice.”

‎“A child was arrested and denied access to his family and lawyer. How did we get here, Nigeria?” she lamented on Instagram.

‎Meanwhile, Regina’s other brother, Sweezzy, claimed that Sammy was secretly flown from Lagos to Abuja and taken to court without legal representation.

‎I’ve Been Hallucinating, Bedridden for Over Two Years – Daddy Fresh Laments

‎Nigerian veteran musician, Daddy Fresh, has revealed the devastating toll of a prolonged illness that has left him bedridden for over two years.

‎A video shared by actor Kunle Afod showed the once-celebrated artist lying frail on a hospital bed, struggling to recognise visitors.

‎“I started hallucinating, seeing people, those I know and those I don’t. My kidney, liver, and eyes are affected. I can’t even stand without help,” he said.

‎The ailing artist also disclosed that he faces eviction from his apartment and has sold off valuables to survive.
‎Afod, who visited him, appealed to Nigerians and the entertainment industry for financial and moral support.

‎“Daddy Fresh is not someone we should forget. He was one of Nigeria’s finest. We must not let him die,” Afod pleaded.

‎Despite his ordeal, Daddy Fresh remains hopeful. “Each time a message or call comes in, I feel relief that someone still remembers me. I trust God that I’ll bounce back stronger,” he said.
