Eniola Badmus Breaks Silence After Clash With Laide Bakare

Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has finally spoken out following her heated exchange with fellow actress Laide Bakare at the premiere of Owanbe Thieves, hosted by Eniola Ajao on Sunday.

The altercation, which went viral, saw Bakare threatening to “deal” with Badmus for allegedly calling her an “animal,” claiming she gave Badmus her big break in Nollywood.

In her first public response, Eniola Badmus took to Instagram on Tuesday with a message of peace and unity.

She wrote: “Life has a way of teaching us that true strength lies not in conflict, but in unity. Though we may have walked different paths and faced moments of tension, I believe it’s time to let love lead.

There is no need for jealousy when we can all succeed. Your success doesn’t diminish mine, just as mine does not take away from yours. Let us continue to collaborate, to lift each other, and to build something greater than what we could ever achieve alone. There’s strength in unity and a future brighter than any victory we’ve pursued alone.

Let us avoid conflict, not because we are weak, but because we are wise. Peace is the path to progress, and love is the light that shows us the way.”

Phyno Denies Selling Estate, Dismisses Tribal Allegations

Nigerian rapper Chibuzor Azubike Nelson, aka Phyno, has shut down rumors suggesting he sold his N10 billion estate in Lagos to a Libyan Arab due to anti-Igbo sentiments.

In a now-deleted tweet, the journalist JustSociety4All wrote, “Musician Phyno has allegedly sold off his N10 billion estate in Lagos to an Arab man from Libya. According to Phyno, it was a mistake building such an estate in Yoruba land, where he feels his people are not welcomed.

“He stated, ‘The last election opened my eyes. The hatred towards Igbos is something that seems like it will last forever. Instead of building in Yoruba land, I’m relocating my estate to Enugu, where my people will make good use of it and it will remain safe for generations.’”

Reacting strongly to the claim, Phyno slammed the journalist in a tweet, writing:
“You are a fool for cooking up this type of lie!!! Where are you heading with this? Anwu nta.”

The rapper’s reaction has been met with support from fans who criticized the spread of disinformation, especially at a time when Nigeria’s unity remains a sensitive topic.

Peller and Jadrolita Spark Breakup Rumors

Popular TikTok couple Peller and Jadrolita have hinted at a possible breakup following a scandal during Peller’s trip to Ghana. He was spotted getting cozy with another woman, sparking outrage online.

In a live session, Jadrolita voiced her disappointment: “Most people have been saying I’m older than you in this relationship, which is fine. But I ignored that, and I follow my heart. Now that I followed my heart, you are saying they paid you to do this, to do that?

“I’m telling you I cannot be with you. Continue with your streaming and do whatever you want. Go and meet someone else that will tolerate such nonsense. Focus on the girls. I won’t hate you, we remain cool and be business partners in the industry.”

Peller, defending himself, stated: “It’s not my fault. I was paid to do it to help her get more followers. They paid for it.”

Later, he fired back at Jadrolita in another video: “I will block you everywhere. I don’t want it again. You are mad.”

The 19-year-old content creator had proposed to the 23-year-old Jadrolita in December 2024, and the two have since drawn public attention with their relationship.
